Your safety, comfort, and best results start with proper preparation and post-op care. Please carefully review the following instructions before your surgery to ensure a smooth experience from start to finish.
Pre-Op Instructions
General Guidelines for All Surgeries:
✔️ Do not eat or drink anything after midnight before your surgery.
✔️ Arrange for a responsible adult to drive you home and stay with you for at least 24 hours.
✔️ Wear loose, comfortable clothing on the day of surgery that zips or buttons in the front.
✔️ No aspirin or aspirin containing products, including ibuprofen, for 10 days before surgery. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is okay.
✔️ Follow medication guidelines provided by your surgeon. Some medications may need to be stopped before surgery.
✔️ Shower the night before or the morning of surgery with antibacterial soap. Do not apply lotions, perfumes, or deodorant.
✔️ Arrive with:
- No deodorant
- No lotions or creams
- No fingernail polish (toe polish okay)
- No makeup
- No hairspray
- No perfumes/aftershave
- No valuables
- No contacts
- No jewelry
- No over the head or tight clothing. Wear something that zips or buttons in the front and loose pants.
PLEASE BRING YOUR FILLED PRESCRIPTIONS AND GARMENT IF APPLICABLE
