This 65-year-old lady presented with concerns about the appearance of her eyes. She was concerned that she appeared to be sleepy. This was due to a condition called ptosis of the upper eyelids, which is related to weakening or loosening of the muscle that opens the eyelid. She also had significant droop of the brow. She underwent a brow lift with an incision at the hairline as well as repair of the weakened tendon mechanism. In addition, she underwent an upper blepharoplasty to target excess skin from the upper eyelid. She is pictured before and after.
