THIGH LIFT
For many women, the inner thigh is fuller than they wish. They seek to regain the shape of their thighs of their younger years. Should the fullness be related to fat deposition and the skin tone is evaluated as being good, then liposuction alone can be helpful. For many, excess skin makes liposuction only minimally helpful. For those patients removing both skin and fat is a more effective technique to meet their goals. Depending on the extent of the remaining skin, the patient will be advised to undergo a traditional medial thigh lift or a vertical medial thigh lift. The traditional medial thigh lift creates a scar that is placed in the crease that separates the thigh from the body's torso. The extended thighplasty is similar but has an additional scar that runs down the inner thigh toward the knee.
